Guys I think this has been answered but I needed to make sure, will the Kappa's work alright in the Pontiacs too? I have a '99 convertible. Appreciate it.

I was HUGELY disappointed by Infinity speakers in my '99 TA. I liked their tweeters a lot but the mid-woofers would distort BADLY on loud bass hits. And that was with them high-passed at 80Hz @ 18dB/octave. I upgraded to Boston Acoustics which was a step up. I recently swapped them out for new Alpine Type-R components and they are even better than the Bostons.

I would also like to know if they work in pontiacs. I thought I read somewhere that they sound good if you use the supplied crossover.

Does anybody else have these in their firebirds? Are they good or not? I want to make sure they sound good in our cars before I order a set.
