I am still friendly. I was just giving you the choice. You have 3 different cars. It would be more fun to run the 630rwhp GTO. Not the SRT4, we had one.

400+rwhp in 2900lbs is awesome, even better considering a 4 cylinder! I miss ours. That "neon" can take out 90% of the guys I know. No hard feelings.

that's correct fabrizi, termi's key strength is ease of modability, because of a forged bottom end.
it would take $2500 in parts and $500 in machining to forge an ls1 I believe.

I wouldnt buy another F-bod but I WOULD buy and LS3 Vette or a used C6 Z06 which is WHAT I was hoping for. I may just trade my Wife's car in and sell the Cobra and get a 300C SRT8 that all 3 of us can drive and save $1000 a month. Wont be near as fast BUT in 2-3 yrs I could get a used Z07......I am really gonna miss the Cobra.

The F-bods are more and more ragged now (years of production 98-02) so finding a great one will cost you $13-18K. I do miss my 99 SS some though but not near what I will feel for the Cobra. I dont even want to sell it locally, one day my OLD car may kick my ass! That and I really dont want to see it around, I really wish to keep it if I could.

I have been in a few cobras they arent bad cars, its just when a isee a T/A and a cobra side by side its a no brainer which one i want. Thats the one i have. After my mods this year which is just under 2k i will be low 11s. I also only paid 10700 for my car with 2 year warrenty. But once again if you wanna say my car with only 1k in mods ran low 11s, then i have to ask what you paid 25k? thats 26k and my supra with only around 9k in work and the made 517rwhp. That 9k got me the car, new motor, tranny, suspension, raer end and turbo setup. Includeing gauges and exhaust. Nest year with about 5k more work into it a 14k car now it will be making a reliable 600-650rwhp. A low 10 possibly high 9 second car. Not quite sure if you know but if you wanna talk runnign 10s for cheap id say i got you, and you must remember even in the late 80 the supra turbo stock from factory went for somewhere in the 30,000s. The car is solid aas hell and has a traga top making it heavier but a hell of alot cooler.Im just saying if you wanted to talk performance for money.

If you can have a DD that runs 9/10's for $25-30K these days with few problems (reliability issues) its a hell of a bargin. Doesnt matter if its a Cobra, T/A or Supra. I would take a Cobra over a T/A and Supra though. All 3 are great cars though.

Either way I dont prefer N/A. I had the 100 shot on my SS since it was much cheaper than a Procharger. I want a H/C LS3 Vette (500rwhp) with a BIG SHOT as my next street car. Or a C6 Z06 with lots more power...and a BIG SHOT.

Hey i own a supra i know a bit about torqueing shit lol, with stock head, and a triple metal head gasket way over torqued it took 28psi on a 67trim turbo with stock internals lol. I fucked up some cylinder walls but the head gasket never blew lol. Was making 517rwhp on 19psi which is what it was tuned for i wonder what it was making on 28 lol

Classy pic. High 12's. Hum? Evan Smith from MM&FF was getting low 12's out of a bone stock 03 on the stock F1's. It's also about potential and the little money it takes to go fast. There are a few 07's running 10's on the stock Eaton with just a pulley and exhaust upgrades.

I had my KB pullied up to 18 psi and it whistled all the time. But, nothing to WOT. I have scared the crap out of people when I passed them when that sound hit them. There was an asshat in Hickory, NC in some kind of Porsche vert that kept showing his ass trying to get me into a race. I would not street race especially in town. I was driving up I-40 oneday in some fairly heavy traffic and I see this asshat weaving traffic and when he blew by me he cut in on me and nearly hit me. Then when he gets in front he keeps eyeballing me in his rear view. He fiannly whips over in the right lane and picks off a couple of cars. I guess he lost interest or forgot about me a couple of minutes later. We passed a line of cars on the right and I had a good 1/4 mile of clean lane on the right. I pulled out and slammed third and went to WOT. This dude had his wife I assumed with him. She had her arm hanging out. When that sound hit her ears she flung herself over almost on top of this asshat and she looked like a chimp that someone just slapped. It was funny as shit. This dude never messed with me again.

You must have a factory freak or something man cause that time on street tires is good. Even with 4.11's, LT's, ORY, LM2, and a 9" the previous owner of my car only got 12.5's on his street tires.

little money to go fast? but you have to buy a $20-30k car first. :sillyme:

why not start with an LS1 based car for $7k, put $3k into it, and call out every mustang you see... all for $10k, instead of $20-30k+.

if you get beat, you still have an additional $20k to spend in mods!

Beat that beetches! Hell, even the free mods were done!

Now I got port & polished LS6 heads, 222/224 cam, 12 bolt, mirror polish throttle body, LS6 intake, LCA's, nice wheels, brakes, and fk man shes gutted out. Hell, I thought I might have to add drop springs I took so much weight outta that bch. I have done all the work to this car myself in the gd driveway son.

Ready to bust a gd 03 cobra. haha You 03 boys fk around and let a LS1 handle ye.

Actually alot of us 03 men had LS1's first. 11.40's @ 121 w/o the 100 shot. My Cobra put a horrible hurtin on it each time even running on the shot.

You still have a baby cam. Try an MS3 or TSP 233/239.

350 isnt weak. 80% of H/C daily drivers are 410-420rwhp. You get a decent cam and set of heads and you have an 11 sec DD with 120mph traps on your hands. Thats awesome. Throw a 100 shot when needed, no problems. I didnt install my nitrous until 90K miles and had no problems. I did have it a tad rich though. What are your plans for the car?

Im in Orlando, I really dont have any plans for the car right now because I am paying it off at the moment. However I am doing one major thing, and thats putting a magnaflow muffler in place of the SLP resonator...hopefully I wont have a headache anymore when I drive.
