i have a 99 formy and here about a month ago i put in a new auburn pro diff and richmond 3:73 gears and moser axles..28 spline..well now my dang back rotors keep getting chewed up..i turned them and they are still getting chewed..HELP!!!!

Did you install fresh pads with the new rotors?

Are you doing burnouts while holding the brake?

What is getting chewed, the pad swept area or another location?

yes i did intall new brake pads on both sides..
dont do burnouts and wont until i get this fixed..
and its the rotor where the pads touch..and its only on the front * outside* of the rotor..

True, the caliper pins allow the caliper to float. If not the pins, then check the caliper pistons. Drag on your rotor would be a clue to either one.

were the axles the same width? sounds like they are pushing the rotors outbound and riding the pad.

the axles are moser 28 spline for a ten bolt..auburn pro series diff with richmond 373 gears..and ta girdle..

like said above check for the caliper being stuck, You can jack up the rear and try spinning the rear tires and see how much drag is on them. Have you had the brake lines open for any reason? Either air in the system or your calipers are sticking
