I remember looking on this site before, and it had a thread about installing C6 rims. It showed where you needed to cut, or bang to prevent any tire rub. Where did this thread go? Thanks

you don't need to do any of that. c6 rims will bolt right up with no problem

yes, but from what i understand since i will be running the OEM rim, the tires will rub. my tires are P285/30ZR19. So hopefully it will be minimized by the small sidewall. thanks again.

my old ones bolted right on without any rubbing issues. i guess you could pound in the wheel well a bit if you're concerned.

I'm not sure on a bird, but I went with 18 x 10.5 C6 rears, and I had to pull off the bump-stops and hammer the well back a bit. They would have fit fine without that, but if I would have hit a big bump, my tires would have both been shredded.

My rears are 19X11 with a 305, plus the eibach prokit and the only time I have issues is when I have people in the backseat and hit a big bump (which is never). You can pound out the top of the wheel well abit if you normally have people ride with you or if your not sure. Again its very minimal rubbing so I wouldnt worry to much about it.
