Ls6 Intake And Heads?

My Friend Has Just Completed A Head And Intake Swap On His 02 Z06. Will His 02 Ls6 Heads Fit On My 98 Camaro Ss, And What, If Any Problems Might I Run In To.

you will need to buy center bolt valve covers due to the 98 being perimeter bolt and the zo6 center bolt. other than that they should fit fine

Those heads will be worth the trouble if they don't cost you much. :drivin:

also, the coils for the 97-98 cars were individually mounted to the valve covers. the 99-up are mounted to a bracket, then mounted to the valve covers. so, your coils won't just bolt up. you can get them mounted using only one bolt for each coil. just not look very good. you can finish the conversion by getting the 99-up coil paks. just not a have to thing.

i am currently going thru this coil prblem, i have a 98 ta,and just built a new ls1 with patriot heads,i have the new valve covers and i was going to buy the coil bracket off of ebay , a place stocks new ones. my question now is are the coils them selves different ,or will my 98 coils bolt to the 99 bracket?
