would camaro monsoon sail panel speakers be the same as the firebird ones?

No, Camaros have single 2 ohm voice coils subs. Firebirds have dual 4 ohm voice coil subs.

You could use a Firebird sub in place of a Camaro sub. To do so you would need to wire the dual 4 ohm VC's in parallel making the speaker 2 ohms like it would be in a Camaro. Don't know how well or even if a Camaro sub will work in a Firebird though.
