Exhaust Tips - Question

This may be just a rediculous question but...

Do exhaust tips change the sound produced from your exhaust system?

The Cam/LT's/Cat-back system I plan on getting will sound AMAZING but the tips coming from the exhaust look less than attractive. I like how it will look with the SLP Dual/Dual tips a lot better.

Also, where can I go to purchase SLP Dual/Dual tips?

Exhaust tips shouldn't change the sound unless you don't have a tailpipe, which you do.

You might wanna look at hooker's tips. I put their dual/dual tips on my t/a and they look awesome. Chrome, not stainless, but you can't beat $30 a piece from summit.
