Ok so my new mods are comming this month. When im said with and done ill have... loudmouth, KOOKS headers, new manifold, lid, TB (80mm) and some work on HPtuners. I might just throw some 4.11's in as well. So heres my question on a track whos elevation is areound 60ft, with warm sticky tires can i run a 12.4?? My firend took a bet with me and i really want his $50. Do i have a chance or should i call it off. Im a decent dirver

Have any suspension? I can see maybe a 12.8-12.6 if you can nail the launch. for that 12.6 your going to have to be in the low1.6's on your 60ft. Not impossable on stock suspension but if your an M6 car or an auto without a stall its going to take John Force driving abilities.

My suggestion is to get some Slicks or ET Streets.. If not you can forget it.. Even with the slicks some killer drivin it would be close..
Id also work on the suspension

those were be mandatory for what you are trying to accomplish.. however if you wanna do it with ONLY those power mods you would also need a lightweight K member and front a arms with some double adjustable front shocks for wiehg ttransfer and then your LCA's and panhard bar and replace your sway bar bushing with poly and hella sticky tires.. even with the above parts I would really just have to say good luck and ill drop ya prayer

All bolt ons + some suspention mods as listed above combined with some drag tires. If your in a rush then get a cam or nitrous. 150 shot is safe in a stock ls1 block. With your mods and 150 you should get your 12.4

As long as hes using good rubbers. Nitrous doesnt help if your going to just spin the tires. If hes never dragged before then that is going to hold him up a lot too, espeically if hes never dragged before and is using nitrous for his first time. But yeah, if you have the normal bolt ons, pretty good tires and a 150 shot you better be running 11s, even if your skills arent top notch.

Direct Port. But if your only running a 150 a wet with a plate will be fine. Just make sure you have all your safety stuff.

12.4 sounds easy, shit I'm at 4500ft and my cousin ran his 02 ws6 m6 to a 13.0 stock on drag radials so I don't see why not.

I think there needs to be more info..is it a auto...m6 ? etc .. With just a stall converter and long tube headers, basic exhaust and fipk, nothing special I ran a 12.6 and I didn't do any weight reduction... I even weigh around 300 lbs, so with a lighter driver 12.4's-5's would be easy..
complete mods are: 3400 2.1 str fuddle stall, FLP LT headers with high flow cats, magnaflow catback, k&N FIPK, STB, SFC's boxed diamond, LCA's boxed, 3:42 gears(in stock 10 bolt), Bilstein shocks and handheld Predator tuner(custom tune by rwtd). Running 16x8 wheels with nitto drag radials. I have seen others run 12.7's with just long tube headers and a lid before.

You have to keep in mind that no 2 Ls1s are the same. I'm not a fan of the term "factory freak", but they happen, in both directions. Plain and simply, you've got to run it before you know what it'll run. To get to low, even mid 12s, you're probably going to need slicks... and something turning them. Otherwise a cam, full bolt-on, or nitrous would do it. Cost effectively, do some basic weight reduction, get a good tune, and throw some slicks on it. I'd keep the $50 in the bank though.

The M6 you will need to get your launch down to get a good 60 foot, Remember the 10 bolt is the weak link, so don't dump the clutch at 5k and break it.
