Hello, I'm swapping a 5.3l/ 4l60 into an 1976 bronco. first question is about the vehicle speed sensor (vss). is that in the computer/ trans or is there an adapter for the speedometer that i'll have to come up with? and second, which exhaust manifolds hug the block better? the camaro, or the corvette? Any help wouls be greatly appreciated! Thanks-Ryan

I guess i'll reeply, First off, the bronco rips! going from a 5.0 to a 5.3 is a night and day experience. It at least doubled the hp! and runs awsome. I still have a problem with the vss. The 4l60 is always switching gears and downshifting. I put a 1994 np241 behind as a t-case and had to change connector on the vss wire b/c the old one on the tcase is larger. The wires are the same color. What is the problem?
