I plan on buying some 18x9.5 Y2K Vette wheels this week. I am planning on a 245/40/18 on the front an a 295/30/18 on the back will that combo work? Also will my long tubes rub if I lower the car with Eibach sportline springs?

tires and wheels will work fine. only issue is the center hub of the wheels themselves. you will need to enlarge two of them. i can't remember if it's for the front or rear hub. you'll find out when you put them on. it's minor thing that a grinder can take care of.

as far as your longtubes scraping after lowering, depends on how big the speedbump and incline is.
