What one? I see most of them with the "SQ" option, I think thats the new thing that makes them quiet.

:yup: , I just wish I could make up my mind on what one to go with (Vortech,Procharger)

From what I am reading as far as each one the "V" seems to be the one to go with, and I have not read anything bad on them where I have heard and read some pretty bad stuff on Procharger!!!

So im guessing a vortech is going to be the way Im going to go....just have nnnoooooooo clue what one???:thinkin:

careful on the v-series from vortech then..they wont give you 15psi. you'd need the F-series from vortech and most likely youre gonna need to cut your hood. procharger would probably be the best bet in that case. 9psi is about all the V9's are good for w/ aftercooler. 15psi needs a serious blower that can support high impeller speeds - the Procharger D1SC is what i'd go with. I believe it supports 30psi, but they have a tendency to walk their belts off and have belt slip problems since they dont use spring-loaded tensioners. My buddy has a D1SC and can't keep a belt on his car for the life of him. He switched to COGS setup and now he's breaking them AND they're still walking off the COGS, but at least the boost is consistent until it breaks ;)

Thanks for that info, I still think the Vortech is the one to go with, I mean talk about a blower that you hear nothing but good things about:yup: . Im going to call Vortech when I get off work and talk to a tech and see what he thinks, I'll post what he says a little later

Your #'s are very very nice, how do you like your Procharger? Any pros and cons you can tell me on it?

I love my Procharger. Very easy install. I chose it over the Vortech because I didn't want to cut my Hood or drill into the oil pan. Plus the unit is down low, away from heat. Which also makes it easy to work on the top of the engine.

The only con I can think of is belt slippage which was solved with a SDCE tensioner.

That SDCE tensioner, does that solve the belt slippage on most of them, cause that is the one con I have heard on a lot of them...belt slippage

Go with a D1-SC and get the SDCE tensioner set-up. All the boost you'll need and it doesn't sit on top of a hot ass engine. If you like massive heat soak, no ability to work on the motor without taking everything off, low boost, and cutting the shit outta your hood, get a vortech.
