Hypertech ?

My buddy has an hypertech programmer that he had for his 99 trans am(he sold it tho). He is going to let me have it but the programmer is married to that car is there a way to unmarry it from the car? Can i just call up hypertech and have them reset the programmer so i can use it or no?

When you remove the program from the car you can then use it for another car if he didn't unprogram the other car you you are out of luck it an ugly paper weight.
