I want chrome wheels for my SS. I like the C5 Vette wheel the 5 star with the skinny spokes. I have found a wheel tire package an I wonder is this the best I can expect to do. 2 17x8.5 with Nitto 555's 245/45 in the front an 2 18x9.5 with Nitto 555's 275/40 in the back for $1800. This is shipped from Cali to SC mounted, balanced, an with lugs. Tell me what you think DEAL or NO DEAL?

NO DEAL!!!!!

did you check out tomzwheels..you can get a set of c5 vette rims for $700 bucks..

tires $200 bucks each for rear
tires $150 each for fronts..and for a grand total of...

$1400 shipping not included...btw why run nitto 555's for the front? can't rotate them or nothing like that, seems like a waste of money...why not use a harder and cheaper nitto compound for the front?

that would even lower the price..good luck..

I agree that you might be able to find them a little cheaper than that if you shop around a little bit more. Those are pretty common wheels.

Just make sure you don't buy some REALLY cheap ones from somewhere, because you do get what you pay for with rims. If you find a set of wheels w/ tires for like $800 bucks or something brand new, then I'd stay away from those too.

Good luck.

Thats not really true either cuz I bought a det of 10 chrome 10 spoke SS wheels and Falken tires for 800 and I must say it was a deal.....but he is right in a way cuz i bought a set of z06's on ebay and I wasn't to impressed

Overall I agree that is WAY to much and I say shop around some more

NOOOOOOOO DEAL!!!!!!!!!

your talking about falken tires..he's putting nitto 555's which are far more expensive than the falken's..

but definelty shop around for the best deal..tomzwheels are the cheapest that i have found so far...z06's chrome in 18's for 750 bucks..can't beat that..
