:help: my ses light came on and the DTC was P0420 (efficiency below threshold/catalyst below threshold) i know dumb question but what does that mean? your help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely your drivers side cat is toast. Lots of threads on this - go to the main forum page and put P0420 into the search - I got 23 hits. Good news is it might be covered under warranty.

if your cat is bad, it WILL be covered under the federal emmissions law/act, if not covered under warenty
