From what I heard Fred Beans Pontiac sells them. But I also found this:

If anyone wants a " Last of the Breed Kit" Bear Mountin Performance has 9 kits left and they can get more.

You can contact : Gary Ripper @ (410)-549-5006
Send check or money order $ 95 dollars
shipping included.

THe address to ship to is: 6348 Sykesville Road
Sykesville, MD 21784

You should be able to get them from your local pontiac dealer. Thats where I've been getting alot of my oem parts. So far they have had lower prices then even some of the after market guys, and I can walk out the door with it in my hands. That seems like a fairly good price for a kit. Since the WS6 emblem alone for the back cost me pretty close to that.

So expensive for just a decal. If I could find one for $60 I would consider it. The Dealerships have them??

I think that my dealer here in Ohio still has one kit left.I should have added that I paid $60 for mine because I was good friends with the parts manager
but he since took a job at another dealership.Their phone number is 937-433-4950(Jack Walker Pontiac).
To answer your question though, not all dealers carried the kits.Good luck in your search:drivin:

I went to my dealer today to see if they carried them and they looked at me and had no idea what I was talkin about... Can you call that dealer and see if they have one left?

I did a little research and made some e-mails and they are no longer being made according Fred Beans Pontiac. They also said they did not have any left, they have long since been gone. He didn't give me any other details. It looks like if someone went and had some made that they would be able to make some money by selling them if they could get past the copyrights and patants.

Got mine from bear mountain performance, he mailed them out right away, I had them in 8 days right to my door, and I live in Northern Canada. They're actually nicer then I thought, it's not just a sticker its more of a raised soft plasticabout 1/4" thick. The key chain ix really nice as well, still kind of expensive, but if you have an 02 its a must have!!!I'm going to take it into my dealer and show them seeing they had no idea what I was talking about.

Only thing I am concerned with on this emblem is what happens if the TA comes out again? Then it will no longer be the last of the breed and the emblem would be out of place

True but in my opinion, once last of the breed always last of the breed. Also, I honestly don't see pontiac producing Trans Ams again.

I believe that pontiac was originally going to sell the gto along side with the new camaro thats coming out.. but they are now going to stop producing gtos because they cost so much that no one wants to buy them. Hopefully in the near future we can see new trans ams on the streets.

Well, we can't rule it out. Chev said the same thing about the Camaro and now look whats about to happen. But these decals are nice, enjoy them. The Firebird/TransAm is an American ledgend. They can't completely kill it off! I can't see this being permanent.

I recieved a few emails here the last few days, the kits have gone up in price but i can still get them. So before i go and order some can i get a count on how many? Currently it costs me about 100 to get them to my door depending on where you are you're probably looking at about 105 to your door. I have to order them through the dealership using our GM reference number for Morgan Design to release them to me.

Yes, the kit was available for 02 Firebirds. It is a religious war but I fall on the side that these are for 02's only (mainly because the certificate says so). It might also be because I own an 02 with the kit. I get a number of questions and compliments on it though. I even ordered a large decal based of the same design for the airbox. It looks pretty good, I think.

The kit includes a certificate, key chain, and two fender emblems.

I work at a sign shop, and if I can get a real nice pic of the emblem I could reproduce it for anyone for a small fee. I googled it and I could no longer down load the image, I also saw one for the SS as well. I will also need to know the size demensions.
