LS1 vs LT1

i was reading an autotrader add for a 2000 pontiac trans am and it said that the car has a LT1. is the guy who wrote the add just a moron because i thought they ended the LT1's in 97. or is the WS6 ram air the only trans am that comes with a LS1. anyway any info would help thank you.

Hes a moron. Half of the people selling these cars, bought them at auction dirt cheap. They have no idea what they are. Untill it comes to price haggling!
