TB response a little slow

Ive got a 96 SS M6 and when I take off in 1st its all good
but its when I shit into second and step on it that the RPM's go up high
and im gettin no response. Its really short thought, it lasts for maybe a second or two just reving the engine then it feels like the gears catch and then the car speeds up. Will a 58mmTB and cam package help out or a change of clutch ? ? ?

What? RPM's go up high. Either the clutch is slipping or not. Is. What would either have to do with a cam package?

i thought the clutch was slipping but i also thought that a bigger cam would straighten it out cuz he had it tuned to a performance cam and when he sold it to me he took it out so I thought it might be that. Thanx for your info. Im a step closer
