yeah, and the posts are one vs another, not the sum of all the products out there. whats your problem with me trying to unify a topic under one thread.

AND THEY ARE ALL OPINIONS . Which are wholly useless for the " unification" of anything.

Well I had the hurst in my car which came stock. I went to a pro 5-0 with a LSS, honestly I can say it was kind of a disapointment. Shifting was much smoother with the Hurst and no my hydraulics arent bad.

I had the factory Hurst shifter and was fairly satisfied with it except that I wanted the gate to be closer together. I read all the opinions and decided on the B&M for a few reasons:1) It was one piece. 2) Fewer online complaints about increased transmission noise. 3) It has the option to position the shifter a little further forward or rearward(stock position).
Now that I have it, I feel that I could not have made a better decision. It is VERY solid, has a VERY narrow gate and shorter throws and only increased transmission noise a slight bit.
I hope this is the response you were looking for.

I had the factory Hurst shifter, and then i switched to the WS6 short stick. I didnt like the fact i could never hit third when i was in WOT (kept hitting the shitgate) so i sold it for a Hurst Competition Plus Shifter/w a black shift knob. I had the exact same in my old 95z28 Hurst Comp Plus/w white knob and loved it. any other F-body i get will get a Hurst Comp Plus as well. Shifts great, close ratio and very, very smooth. never has missed third since putting it in. :burnout:

Factory Hurst w/LSS. I have no complaints with this setup and will spend my mod money on other stuff.

I have the SLP short throw with the ws6store short stick. Shifts are much shorter than stock but the shifter could be a little bit easier to move.
Same as SSwtooSS right down to the Black ball. Got to have the Black ball !
Had mine since the day I got car. Dec 18th 1998 :yup:
