Window motor is starting to go out so I'm swaping it out for new one (again). Last time I changed the motor I noticed one of the rollers was cracked and did not want to stay in the tracks. So when I change the motor this time around I'm going to change one of the rollers too. How hard is it to change one of these rollers? Looks pretty stright foreward just wondering who has done this before.

Congrads a being up to opening the door up and working though this.

Had the roller pop off the track on me. In looking at a spare window regulator, the roller is held in place by a ball. From what I see, you need to use get to flat screw drivers between the ball and roller then pry the two apart. If that does not work, then cut off the old one with a hacksaw! The new should just push on.

Just a though, use a C clamp to give even pressure to compress the two together. A shot of WD-40 on the new roller will help the two slip together.

Now, while your at it. CLEAN old grease off the tracks! Break or carb cleaner on a rag will do it. Then add fresh gress on the tracks and motor gear. This step is often overlooked by the dealer. Happen to me.

Good luck!:usa:
