99 SS rear end question

What's up guys? I am new here and just trying to get some input on a new rear end for a 99 SS 6 speed convertible. I have it looking good and stopping better, now it is time to make it faster. I have heard that the rear ends in these cars are prone to breaking with added power so i would rather change that first . Any suggestions on the best rear end to get? Thanks for the help...:help:

never heard of it. moser is what everyone seems to go with..and I know some places are starting to carry dana60s....what are you gonna be doing with your car?

when the drivetrain is strengthened it will get 3.73 or 4.10 gears, then it is getting heads, a cam, and full exhaust redo and little things while the motor is out
