its kinda scarry in here....with there being no posts....or threads]

ye-haw! Crusin up a highway in cinncinnati I passed a mustang GT, saw a gauge cluster going down his frame and figured to try some shit-so i reved next to him and he shot behind me all aggressive like....it's on!!! I always get so apprehensive when i race that i forget how much power our gears can take-so i dropped to 4th instead of 3rd but still i just hammered on and pulled away-he stayed on my ass the whole time-we dodged 3 lanes to the right, 3 to the left, we got blocked off by 3 cars across to which i came right up on the asss of a talon w/fart can. He finally got the clue that this wasn't for him and moved out of the way. Once again i only went to 4th [DOH!!!] but found it absolutly hilarious that i stayed ahead of the stang for that long. Finally we backed off and he went screaming-and i mean SCREAMING past me-i've never heard a car sound like it before-like a LOUD whirring overtop of tin-sounding exhaust....what the hell sound was that?

I got a 01 Z28 M6 with a few bolt ons,305/35/18 drag radials, 4.11's, and spray with small 75 shot, I raced a 92 GTA with a LS1swap + heads/cam(pkg rated for about 420rwhp), Patriot heads, lumpy cam, sounds like it will barely idle at 700rpm. 3.42 gears, did about 4 runs and used the spray once took him off the line and up too 150mph all 4 times, a couple times he managed to stay within a car of my bumper but never came close.

Also I am new here, lurked on LS1.com forums, mostly to buy things and for tech Q&A, not much of a chit chat kinda guy. I am from Saskatchewan Canada and have had my Sunset Orange Z28 for about a year now, I think I will be pulling the motor and going with a Forged 408ci with AFR heads and a thunder racing cam for next year, then will need a 12 bolt!

not if you call traffic 2 lanes out of 3 wide open and no one else around?
