tranny slips in 2nd?

my transmission slips bad only in 2nd though, but hits 3rd really hard, sometimes when i move from P to d it hits real hard, what should I do?:dunno:

2nd gear band is giving up. rebuild soon.

First pull the pan, and remove the 1-2 Accumulator housing. It's the roundish thing in the rear corner next to the solenoids with 3x 10mm head bolts. Check that piston and spring out. If it's a plastic piston and cracked, replace it with aluminum. If the band is going away, and it could be, you should notice 4th gear problems as well.

Sounds like its shot man. Time for a rebuild.

If you can, get someone to build it up from stock, so you won't have the same issue again ;)
