Hello,

Looking at getting some staggered rims, 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. The dealer I'm talking with is trying to sell me tires that are 235/40 in the front and 265/35 in the rear. He says the overall height difference is negligable. I'm worried about how it will look. Here are my options:

Cheapest are the Falken ZE-512s in 235/40 and 265/35.
$100 more are the Yokohama AVS ES100 in 235/40 and 265/35
For the same as the Yokos, I can get Dunlop Direzza DZ101s in 255/35 and 275/35.
Nankang NS-IIs are cheaper than the Falkens, but he didn't seem all that happy with them.

There are other options as well, but cost is an issue. I'd appreciate any of your opinions, or any other options in the price range of the mentioned tires.

Thanks in advance,
Eric

If you're going to get the 18x9.5s in the rear you might as well use the whole tire and get 275x45...I recommend the goodyear eagle GS-D3...it's an awesome tire...if priceing is an issue, then buy them off line or ebay, do your homework though. I've found i could always find them cheaper online than at a dealer
