Do yourself a huge favor and take the car somewhere were they can hook it up and monitor the engine while it's getting tuned......that's the safest way to tune these things......all LS-1's aren't created equal.....one tune that makes a car respond well might not work on yours as well.......I've seen some of these people that say they have 1000's of tunes for LS1 but the only problem is you send them your ECM and get it back and sometimes it may not be perfect...then you send it back...blah blah blah...and it translates into downtime......
Also, if you've got the turbo hooked up already DO NOT!!!!!! I MEAN DO NOT get on that motor until you have it tuned!!!...You'll blow that thing in no time flat.........I wish I could remember the company down in South Florida that tunes LS1's...if I can remember it I'll let you know...

Some people are pretty proud of their tunes and will charge upwards of $500....a dyno tune should be used to tune your WOT only.......and only after you've got a good drive tune on the car.....most people charge you by the pull on the dyno so you want to show up there ready to go..........what are you expecting or wanting from the car?????

where are you located..... depends on where you dyno most places charge 125 for an hour and you can tune in an hour no problem. I think hp tuner is the best tuning piggyback software out now and works very very well

If someone tries to charge you $1000 to tune your car they are supporting a crack habit!!! If you were closer to Panama City I could hook you up...I use LS1 edit but there are some good computer based programs out there...HP Tuner is good...Tuner Cat.....Do you have access to a wideband 0-2 monitor and a engine diagnostic program or the best synerio someone with a Tech-II so you can hook up to the car and monitor the car after you tune on it......About the very best advise I can give you is to be careful with the "experts" on here.....let a professional tune it.....

NOOOOOOOO....ok.......my humble suggestion will be not to buy anything but to look for someone that can tune it....how far are you from Miami???? There is a company there that specializes in LS1 tuning...I'll get the name for you.......

Just make sure whoever you use knows what they are doing........if it were me I'd drive 3 hours to get it done right.......might be worth a call just to see...
