I don't know if this is where I should post this, but it was the closest thing to brakes I saw, so here goes. Next week I am going to be getting new Rotors and Pads on my front brakes, would it be good to go ahead and get some kind of better rotors or just get whatever the tire place gives me? Let me know what rotors to choose. Thanks in advance.

depends what kind of stopping power you want. I have just some cheap ebay slotted/crossdrilled rotors and hawk pads and it stops perfectly fine for me. Other people prefer brembo, baer, etc. Even stock size brembo's aren't that much more than stock replacement rotors, I say go for the upgrade.

usually there are two grades of rotors, not a lot of difference in $$,the pads you have more choices ,our shop uses carquest pads, they have three grades ,regular or genarick, blue, gold ,we use blue on 75% of cars .gold on trucks.gold on cars tend to be noisy because they are ceramic, they are the best but they are not all that quiet.hope this helps

Yes, that helps immensley. Now when you say loud, do you mean they squeak or what? and would these be good as far as rotors go?
