K&N cold air intake, SRP tuning, rebuilt motor by SRP, underdrive pulley, Spec stage 3 clutch with solid steel flywheel, ported throttle body with air foil, Flowmaster exhaust with cut-out, 160 degree thermostat, short throw shifter.

we have run but it was my first time.

we ran even from 40 to 100 then he pulled a bit.

This might be alil OT but how much did it cost to get the engine rebuilt and did it help alot (power-wise) ?

the rebuild cost about $2000 which they did for me cheap by the way they do great work. It help with power but i was spinning 3 main bearing before so power loss was significant. plus the motor had 166,000 miles on it before rebuild so it was slower than it should have been.

Got the headers on and the custom y-pipe. didn't help allot with torque on take off but h.p above 30 is definetly better.

that last late launch run was my favorite. the slightly slower car wins cause its all about the jump. 2/10's of a second jump on start is good for 29 ft seperation at 100 mph by my calculations. spur of moment races are won more by smart drivers than faster cars. having both is scary.... good job though dipherent no slam on you nice car and driving.

you dont know how much mental power I had to devote to not slamming the gas until about 20ft in motion...that was the hardest part, but i was stoched that i didn't loose traction; i think that's what killed me against him the other races [not on vid, 'cept one...]
