I wasn't sure where to put this and figured that this would probably be the best place to add this. Ricer mentality cracks me up. On facebook (a site like myspace for college students) I'm in a group called anti-rice and one of the guys asked if anyone had any kill stories. Some neon guy had this to say,
"I drive a 2003 Dodge Neon R/T with a few mods and a turbo on its way. Most Civics in my area look at me like I'm an idiot when I pull next to them. They give me that, "Hey, I'm better than you because I got 110 horses." Then I smoke 'em and laugh as they are still picking up their jaws..."
and he expected not to get cracked on. One of the guys replied that even with a turbo he would only get 200hp and he made this reply
"Only 200? You're a f@#$ idiot. A turbo on a R/T neon would push out about 250. It's also not a ricer. A ricer is an IMPORT with a fart can and a big ass spoiler. Mine has none of that. Why do you think they're called ricers to begin with? As I recall, the Japanese are the one's that eat a lot of rice, hence the imports being called ricers."
I thought it was funny since the R/T comes stock with 150hp and he made the comment of smokin cars with 110hp. Ricers hatin ricers, I love it. It just made me laugh so I thought I would share it with you guys. I appologize for the length.
