Pro 5.0 shifter or B&M Short Shifter?

i was just wondering what is better to go with.

PRO 5.0 all the way! My friend has a B&M in his SS and I have a PRO 5.0 in my Z28 and the build quality is better in the PRO 5.0 and my friends B&M gave him problems, mine on the other hand shifts awesome. :drivin:

i heard that the pro 5.0 is better for drag racing and the b&m is better for road racing and autocrosses is that true

Never tried B&M but I can safely say that my pro 5.0 is the most sturdy and well made shifter ive ever seen. It has set screws so you can really beat the piss out of your shifter and not do any damage to the tranny at all. I would really go with pto 5.0 but thats just me.
than again ... 5.0 = mustang = inherently bad. Besides the name its the best.

Pro 5.0 for two years, never had any problems.
