2.73 gear option - W/video

I was runnin some of the option codes that i didnt know.. and I found that my car has 2.73 gears on a factory 98 LS1 Z28. which does explain a lot. i have 275 tires and it is tough to just burn 'em off without using the brake. which really dissapointed me a lot because my 95 lt1 z28 would just cut them loose at any time. So i wanted to check out the top speed and it will peg the 155mph.. but i did get a little clip of the acceleration above 100. Gears are coming soon, but i wanted to play with what i had for a while. ---Yeah I'm not stupid I didn't tape it myself, had a friend do it from the backseat---

the lt1 also has different power delivery....torque is pretty much instant..which makes it easier to spin them.

Cool vid....I should have my g/f film me doing something like that. Problem is there isn't many roads around here that I trust to go that fast down. I must have high oil pressure or something also....mines closer to the 60 mark at those rpm's at running temp.

BTW...what mods do ya have?

well... like the story of my life --- low funds. My car is bone stock with the exception of magnaflow exhaust. and yeah I live in a small town without a police department, the county cops drive through once in a while. so its a little better.
