My clutch fluid has a really slow leak. It leaks so slowly that I didn't even know what those spots on my garage floor were until now. They're already dry so I thought they were old spots.
Bottom line is, my M6 won't go on into any gear with the clutch depressed so I need to at least get it in gear long enough to drive it about 8 miles to my tranny shop. I added fluid and pumped the clutch but it still won't go into gear. :(
The manager at the shop told me to pump the clutch about 5 times and let it rest a couple hours, then pump it again. do this several times over the course of the evening. he says I might have air in the line and by pumping the clutch pedal I can maybe get the air to "burp" out of the line. Maybe... He said this might or might not work.
You guys have any suggestions for me? I might have to call a tow truck in the morning if I can't get it in gear. :help:
