Turn signal/DRL problems

Starting off, my front turn signals do not blink and they do not light as DRL's, however, the parking lights work. The rear turn signals will light and stay on when I put on the signals and i sometimes hear the blinker module (whatever its called) click once. I also tried turning on the hazards to see what would happen, both rear flash but the front ones do not.

Also, is there anyplace that I can purchase new sockets and enclosures for the front?

Sounds like the bulbs are burnt out.

checked the bulbs and both filaments in each bulb are still intact

I have been experiencing the same thing for quite a while now, just seems like I have bought out the bulb isle every other month. Lazy I know, The sockets need replacing and not to mention the housing itself. But if this is what your looking into doing yourself. You might want to drill a couple drain holes in the bottom of housing to help get rid of standing water that gets into the socket.
Learned that from some of the guys here, a long while back.

I have a 99 T/A WS6 30th Anny. and lovin it even with the bulb problem.

yeah, replaced one socket last night and it works just fine. packed it full of electrical grease just to help waterproof it. the only problem that i'm having is that where i'm at all the automotive parts stores are sold out of both the 3157 sockets and bulbs. does anyone know where i can buy some extra sockets online?

Where did you get your socket. The dealers in my area want about $50 per side for the socket and pigtail.

The problem I have is water getting into the housing somewhere. I took both lense out of the car and tried to seal them with silicone caulk. Time will tell if this works or not. I drilled a small hole in the base of the lense to help water escape.
I also used a file to clean the corosion from the contacts and that has worked for a good while. Dielectric grease should help prevent corosion, but won't do much for already coroded connections.
My hunt for aftermarket sockets comes up empty. Can anyone offer any help?

I found replacements at auto zone for $6.
Im glad I bought an extra one.
I might be talked into selling it for $50:lol:
