Is it even worth getting this if i already have the stock ram air on my WS6? would it make any difference or should I put my money elsewhere?

Money else where, the price to power ratio is not good with a different ram air, when you already have one.

from what I've read on this board (I've been on here since 98) the ram air that the WS6 and SS have isn't all that effective. The Fast toys ram air on the other hand, actually works pretty good. good power gains at 45 mph and up.or so I've read for a long time. I'm surprised that nobody who has one has answered your question.

some guys have concerns regarding getting water up in there during flood conditions so if you live in an area where flooding is common, it's prolly not such a good idea to put on one.

Yea, from the little ive been on this forum thats what ive been hearing as well. I live in Illinois and flooding isnt really an issue around me. If its raining I dont drive the car anyway so that wont matter. Maybe someone w/ it will respond and leave there input, im leaning towards getting it because ive only heard good things about it.

It comes with a block off plate....so water/rain aren't a issue if you use it.

I've got a t/a with the ram air hood and stock air box (not ram air). What kind of gains would I see putting one of these on my car.

From listening to alot of guys on this board for a long time, I've never heard anyone say the stuff on that site isn't true.

I have one myself, but it's sitting in a box in my garage and I haven't had the wherewithall to put it in.

But someday I will, I swear it. :)

I've seen guys with SS option change to the FTRA, I can tell the difference at high speeds. I had the foam get blown out around the edges till i put support in place. It definitely charges the motor with more air.
