Trading in the WS6.

Wats up guys. i am getting ready to sell my WS6 and get an 06 gto. I drove it the opther day and absolutley loved it. Its blazen orange with the appearnace package and 6-speed. Did you anyone else go from a trans am to gto? If so are happy with it?

I went from an 02 SS A4 (all SLP options) to an 05 M6 GTO. I'm pretty happy with the decision.

After 3 years the Camaro wasn't aging too well. It had bad piston slap, a transmission that was hit-or-miss on the downshift, and had rear subframe issues (weird rubbing noises on hard launches).

I can't say I miss it too much. The GTO takes the Camaro on straight line acceleration, comfort, interior, and build quality. The Camaro (Bilstein Suspension) outhandles the GTO though. The GTO is about 2-3mph slower running thru some of the turns in the "test-tracks" I frequent. The GTO has better steering feedback than the Camaro but its body-roll and thin tires limit its potential while cornering.

About 2 months ago I sold my '00 WS6 for an '04 GTO. Both are 6-speeds. Although I loved and still do love the WS6, I was ready for a change. The GTO has not let me down. Plus it is 4 years newer and a lot less miles. The red interior gets me everytime I get in it.

The GTO is a great car. There comfortable to drive and will haul ass. My buddy is planning a buildup on his new 06.......should be interesting.

absolutely, most dont know what it is and dont figure it out until its too late. the WS6 isn kinda obvious, the GTO aint.
