I have a question. Im pretty much new to the whole automotive world, i just got my first car (1994 V6 Firebird) and im an all power guy, i received it from my cousin who perfered looks over actual muscle.. being the all power type i am, im constantly looking for a way to get more hp out of the v6, but i have a question, is it perfectly OK to put a turbo charger or super charger on a v6? it wont do any harm, should it? i just put a real nice K&N air intake on it last weekend for my first mod. but what do you all think about the chargers? i'd appreciate any suggestions/advice from anyone.

Thanks

You can do a used V8 swap for about the same price as forced induction. I don't know what kind of compression they used in the V6, but you could run forced induction without hurting it.

a turbo/super charger will put added stress on the engine and you can run one no prob setup right but you won't be able to run lots of boost.

but you can't go cheap on something like this either

i'd go v8 but a turbo v6 would be def cool

side note, i've ran 10psi on my saturn all stock motor;)
