For the last few weeks every once in a while my ses light has been coming on on my 95 formula, always for only about 2 minutes. I already took it to autozone, but it wouldnt scan (The technician said he saw that once on a mustang where the wiring was already messed with, and someone suggested it was because i have and OBD1 and the scanner was for OBD2). But anyway, ive recently noticed a humming sort of noise when the ses light is on (I never noticed this the first few times th light was on). Sounds like my fans, but louder than usual, and i dont know what else it could be. Also, whenever the light is on, i always look at the gauges right away, and the temp is always at the exact same temp, about 190/195. Another oddity is that the light always seems to go on at the same exact spot on a local road, when im exacty the same distance from leaving my house (but not everytime i drive) So i would guess there is a problem with my thermostat, but i really dont know much about internal engine operation. Can anyone help confirm/deny this prediction. And if you know what is wrong how do i go about fixing it. Thanks in advamce, any help is appreciated.
