What is a Camaro RS?

I saw a Camaro today and it looked like a regular 99-02 camaro except that insted of having a Z28 badge on the side and back it had a RS. thanks, joe :thinkin:

R/s which stands for rally sport. It's a v6 camaro that come w/ either a 5 speed manual or auto. I think it's a big V6(not sure)Some come w/ the ground effects that look nice, but at the end it's not a v8.

not true about ground f/x, a friend has one without ground f/x, i think better intake, and i know it has the duel exhaust exit like the z28's but they are just turn downs

i havent found an rs yet without the ground effects.well i did find one but its couse it was crashed and put back together.

the RS version that came out btwn 2000-2002 had a V6, with a slightly different exhaust set up that produced 205HP - 5 more than the standard V6. - there were also RS's that were with the 3rd generation Camaro's. For example, a 1991 Camaro RS; came with either a 3.1L V6 or a 5.0L V8

yes. I have a 90' RS. It came with different ground effects than the Z28, 15" color match wheels, upgraded interior w/ special edition Bose stereo( whitch had speakers in the kick panals and a special deck lid over the rear well w/ each speaker powered by its own amp) softer springs, 2.73 rear and the mighty 175 hp 305 TBI V8.
