I have seen a set of 3.90 gears for a 99 Z28. I was wondering how streetable it would be with a 3000 stall. I was planning on 3.73s until i saw these. :thinkin:

Very streetable - more so than 3.73. Very little diff. on the freeway between these 2 - but big diff in off-the-line response.

if you have a stock 10 bolt, they dont make 3.90's for it. I have 3.89's in my 9" and they're not bad. its a m6 though.

There are no 3.90s for a 10 bolt. I have them in my 12, though. :)

69-G875390 Motive Performance Gears, 3.90 Gear Ratio, 3 series carrier, GM 7.5" 10 bolt rear end
this is what I saw on thunderracing.com, for a 98-2002 camaro/f-body

so, 3.90 is better off of the line, and almost as good on the highway? Y do people get 3.73's?

The 3.90s was suppose to be released this soring for a GM 10 bolt. I haven't looked but I know they are suppose to be out.

I've been driving on them in my 12 for a week, it's a great compromise between 4.10 and 3.73.
