3rd gear?

you ever notice when you shift from 2/3 that third feels a little under powered fo a split second? even high rpms in 2nd? Am I missing something or is that just the ratio? Stock ws.6 rear.

I think its the gearing. Mine has 3.42's and does the same thing.

Get some 3.73's or 4.10's and it will go away.

just seeing if it was a common thing. it's fine by me. won't upgrade for a few years. thanks for eveyone's feedback :thumbup:

Got 4.10's, and it is never underpowered. 3rd seems a little short in normal driving conditions for some reason though, almost better to skip it and go to fourth. It seems like 3rd is only a slightly higher ratio than second. However, in race conditions 3rd is highly necessary. I never had the experience of stock gears.

Marriage. That's why I sold my Cobra is b/c I f*cked around got my head full of dreams getting engaged to this chic. Then she went psycho a couple months later, and I took the money I got from the Cobra and bought a hooked up Z28, then dumped 3 grand in more mods.

She suddenly turned into a dud in the sack anyway, so it was a wise choice to spend my money in something always fun!! :lol:

If I could have put nitrous on her, then I might not have kicked her to the curb!
