Clear Corners?

I've been tossing around the idea of throwing clear corners on my car (to replace the amber and red lenses on the side). I even threw together a quick MS Paint of it (Fuck photoshop...spoiled bitches). Let me know what y'all think:

Honestly, it looks good and bad. It definately goes with the chrome/silver theme of the grill and side vents and also the rims. But it also seems like to much with all that also. Id say go with what you think looks good.

Stock wheels, stock springs, Nitto DR's on the back, cheapo 245's on the front.

TTII's, Eibach Prokit, Nitto 315's on the back, BFG KDW 275's on the fronts.

I like the look of clear corners and the blacked out look on black. IMO it all comes down to personal preference.

If you get the clear corners, think about getting LED red bulbs for the rears. I did this because after a while, the stock red bulb started to look pink to me. They are pretty cheap too.

I got my LED's from a place local called Custom Trim of Akron. You should be able to get them at any parts stores like Auto Zone or Advanced Auto (whatever similar you have in your area). There is also a website that has them pretty cheap, but I can't remember it right now.

I did have some light rubbing until I got an alignment. Front and rear.
Still gotta keep an eye on the rears. Might still rub when the car squats.

I wanted to do that as soon as I got my car off the lot!! I waited and did it the following year, loved it, till my friendly neighbourhood cop told me to put back on the stock ones, apparently its a violation!!! big surprise. I got a warning ticket, but never changed them. When he pulled me over the next time I told him I phoned MTO (ministry of transportation) and they said it was not a violation, and he believed me....LOL

Front DRL/blinkers, side markers, and 3rd brake light. :yup:

i painted all mine black and put an ls1 deacl over the third break light, painted it black and pealed it off so when i hit my breaks after a race they see it was no v6 that just beat them ;)
