Are you a manual or auto? Are you spinning at all out of the whole, if so you might want to look into some et streets for more traction and if you are an auto and dont have a converter you will be deep into the 12's with one.

my car is an Auto. I was using street drags from good year. I bought a TCI super street Fighter 3500 stall a while back. I got it installed, but i didnt like it. I mean the power was pretty cool, but it was annoying me around town. my car dosen't see track that much. Plus when i got onto the freeway when it finally locked up it would clunk and feel weird. so i just took it back out and sold it. Any ideas? better tires? should i have gotten a differnt Verter? let me know what you think.. and acutally i just relized that i think i had over a half a tank of gas. How much would that affect it?
Thanks in advance..

I havent heard anybody too satisfied with a tci converter (old technology). I have a Yank 2800 (should have went bigger), buts its grate you cant tell its there unless you step on it, I’ve heard the same things about Midwest and Vigilante. They cost a hell of a lot more then a tci but its worth it.

Have 2000 T/A, and went to the track about 2 weeks ago. The car is stock with the exception of an Direct-Flow Air Lid. The tires were old. As the drags were going on, a Vette hit the wall. That scared me because of the tires. So I only ran once: RT .278, 60' 2.056, 1/8 8.795, MPH 82.51, 1000' 11.334, 1/4 13.482, MPH 104.07. I've run a few other times and usually at about 13.4 or 13.5. Would like to get down to about 13.10. Any suggestions. Now have new tires by BFG .:drivin:

You have no upgrades to get you out of the 13s. I personally think you need a few more to get out of the 13s. T Converter might help.
