Will a 295/35/18 tire fit on the front of a 00 Camaro lowerd about 1in-1.3in? The wheel is a 9.5" wide C5 Vette wheel with a 54mm offset and 7.35" of backspacing.

Why do you want to put that big ass tire on the front? It barely fits at the back, matter of fact it didn't fit at the back. I had to beat a lot of sh*t and do some grinding to get the 10.5" wheel, 295/35/18 Toyo Proxes to fit. The max on the front, IMO, would be 275/35's. It will prolly look funny if you put that big tire on the front. (about 10.5 to 11 inches wide) Well, if you put a 335/30 at the back, it might not look too bad.

The car is lowered too, oh hell, hope you got some fab experience.

Because I currently have BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KD's - 295/35/18 on the rear and 275/45/17 on the front. I decided to go with all 18's all the way around instead of the 18/17 combo. So I bought two new 18 inch C5 wheels for the front.

My Problem is I cant find a 275/35/18 KD for the new wheels. BFGoodrich doesnt make one. Tire Rack has a 275/40/18 tire, but my car is lowered and I know they will definetly rub. My only other option would be a 295/35/18 or a 285/30/18. I dont want to run mis-matched brands, or a different BFG's up front, or replace all 4 tires... Any suggestions?

Those are nice tires. I see your dilemma. I would try either the 265/35's, which will be slightly shorter (0.8") than your 295/35's (26.1"). 275/40 will be slightly taller (0.6"). Either one should look fine! Keep me updated!

my 275's just touch the plastic on the inside edge if I turn tight. I have the pro kit for springs. I know someone on the board has 315's on all 4's but I'm not sure what he did to make them fit. I don't remember his user name either. You might be able to fit the 295's up front with some modifying the inner fender with a heat gun to remold it.

to put 295s, just get 10.5" wide wheel, so that the tire is properly mounted on the wheel.
With sstock brake system, I had tu use a 7/32" spacer in the front to make them fit... but since I put the Big Red Porsche brake system, no more need for spacer, and 17x9" won't fit anymore (don't clear the calipers)
Wide wheels fit more easily in the front than in the rear... just that ppl think otherwise.
If you folllow the link in my signature, you'll also see 335 on 17x12 on all 4 corners. ;)
There are quite a few ppl that use Vette 18x10.5 on all corners. One of them is acarnut (board member)... check his write-up: http://www.geocities.com/acarnut99/CamaroZ06.htm

why wide in front ?
well, simple... want to turn on demand. :yup:
I dare you to just put your rear wheels in the front and you'll have no issues.
the only hick you might have is that in the spindle, there is a little dimple sticking out... grind it a bit flush and that's it.
I grinded it just in case, due to cornering forces and potential flexing during racing.
