16x8 good tire combo

just got me some 16x8, I am going to use them on my non modded 95 TA.I will probably just stay stock size for the front and would like to go a little more in the rear without having to hammer the inner wheel, so what's the widest I can get by with, and where should I buy from......

8" wide, I'd stay w/ 245s
unless you mean you have the 16x8 for front and woundering how wide of wheels you can get in the rear.
My understanding is that you want to know how wide while being mounted on a 16x8" wheel.
