Vortec Max info

Greetings all:

I am in the process of buying a Vortec Max crew cab, and wanted to know how easily this truck will lend itself to mods. I know there are similarities between this motor/tranny and the Escalade, but I am unsure about things like heads/cam/maggie/exhaust/intake.

Also, anyone know of sites that have forums or info for the Max?

How do you like your new VortecMax? I am awaiting delivery on the 2WD GMC version. Does the 4x4 have the adjustible suspension, as well?

I was wonding the same things you are about modifications. Any idea if the Magnetic Ride Control shocks can handle a 2-4 drop?

Check out www.performancetrucks.net, they have a good bit of info on all the GM trucks as well as Ford and Dodge. I found them after I bought my '06 ECSB Silverado.

Its a great truck, although with the gas prices I have been driving my co. car more and more...free gas.

Anyway, lotsa power, but as with all things I gotta have more. I am too busy pooring $$ into silly things, like 401k, house, and my 2nd child on the way. Gotta have the future for the kiddos.

Overall, great truck, and I just got finished having Katzin leather thrown in. I really want a Maggie thrown on, but 8k can buy alot of diapers.
