i have the typical set like everyone else here, dry shot into lid. my nos switch is in the radio bazel, where the camaro ss should be, anyway my question is when i turn it to on. does it shoot the 100 shot by it self or do i have to turn the switch on the off by hand? or will it reset. if i leave the switch to the on postion, will it reload and as soon as wot it will go again? i have all the safety stuff except window switch which i'm looking into getting.
if i missed any info please let me know. i want to find out as much as possable before i blow myself up.

did you put a wide open throttle switch/handheld button on the car? if not, and you have direct wiring to the relay/solenoids, then a soon as you turn it on, it will start spraying.

as far as 'reloading' goes, it's 100% everytime you hit the button. dependant upon things like how empty the bottle is and what pressure you are at.

yes wide open throttle. ok clears a lot up i knew you would be the one to answer to. ok one last question. so when i flip it on will it keep coming out till i turn it off or will it go off after the 100 shot? is there only a caertain amount that will come out at one time? thanks in advance. jeremy

As long as it is on and the WOT switch is activated (being at WOT), it will spray until: you let of the throttle and disengage the WOT switch; you turn the switch off; you run out of nitrous; or something goes boom. A "100 shot" is only a measure of how much HP you are adding (ratings vs. reality vary). It is not an amount of nitrous, the rating is determined by the size of the jets.

it is an amount of nitrous which is regulated by the jetting. 'x' amount of nitrous will give 'y' amount of power. for example, a .062" jet will give close to 150 rwhp of power.

pretty much what tucdog said. you can turn on the power switch. so long as you have the WOT switch, nothing will operate until the WOT makes contact and closes the loop to energize the solenoids. so, long as you have completed the circuit, nitrous/fuel will flow until you break the power circuit. either by disengaging the WOT switch or by turning off the power while you have the WOT switch engaged.

this is assuming you don't have a window rpm activation switch.

ok that helps, mrr23 when you run 1/4 how is your set up, i have been looking into the window switch the one i found is set up for 3,000 on 6,000 off. is that about right? is this the safest way? also so how much time do you reccommend with the switch on meaning how much "nos" time wise is good? sorry but just don't want to blow up. and i know you guys know.

that window switch is fine. pretty safe. the entire 1/4 mile is how i run it. i don't use a window switch. i turn it on myself. i launch the car with the power off. the WOT switch is closed at this point. so long as i have traction, i'll turn the power on and hang on. i spray through the shifts also. once i'm through the traps, i let off the pedal. this disengages the WOT switch, which cuts power to the noids. then i'll shut the power off after i've slowed down. i'm just crazy like that.

ok i completely understand now, but how good is it for the motor to have that much nos continuous for about 9 seconds? i knew you blew a motor is that why? thanks jeremy

if everything is done properly, you can leave it on as long as you want. i blew up the motor in the wife's car due to a loss of oil pressure. not because of the nitrous. there are pics up in the thread i made about it.
