Who makes the headers and what is the application?

why is your usernam ls1 colorado?

The headers are hand fabricated just for this application.
The reason for the username is because when I was going to start this project, I thought that I was going to use the ls1, and then of course I changed my mind.

There will be new pics soon, having some trans problems right now. So as soon as i get some time to fix the thing, i will post some more pics and info.
the trans is a 4l80, not stock. the rear end is stock with 3.42's for now. I don't know if I will change this or not, unless it breaks.
As far as the sub frame, we did have to fabricate new motor mount brakets, but we didn't send it out.
thanks
Tom

The rear tires are 285/40/17 on a widened factory zq8 wheel. It's a shame that 285's are all that I could get underneath there. The s-10's would fit larger tires underneath.
But, oh well.

Are you located in Savannah Ga? Whos handling most of the work? What gauge setup worked with it and any integration of the cab wiring and engine wiring problems that you have had? I am in Douglas and the shop my brother works at put a Corvette Ls1 in a 90 Silverado. It is in Lyons.

Yes, Savannah, Ga.
The work was done in ST. Pete, Fla.
I havent put guages in quite yet, there have been problems getting the ECM and the BCM to communicate with each other>
It is much more complicated than the 1990 truck, because of the new computers on these trucks.
Alot of aggrevation, but worth it in the end.:drivin:

Hey Tom, thanks for giving my number to the shop. He called me about 3 weeks ago, he told me he would let me know when it was getting close to being done. I think I saw his red S-10 the other day too. Good luck man, I hope your truck is finished soon so you can enjoy it. :yup:

Yeah, he did. Sorry I missed you that night too man. I just couldn't manage staying awake. I know you are going to enjoy that thing when you get it back. I'm stashing my $$ away. Maybe I'll do it. Thanks for breaking new ground with it, they told me the next one should go alot smoother.

Not yet man but I have been waiting for him to call me back. It's very funny how we finally talked. When he called he asked if I needed any welding done and I didn't understand why someone would just call me and ask that so I said no and he said, "well I have your number in my wallet for some reason, this is Chris right"? So I said yes and finally after about 10 minutes of back and forth I finally said, "are you the guy doing Toms Colorado" ? And he said yes. Funny stuff really, it was so out of the blue.
Is it finished now ? I'll definitely get by there this time before you trek it back home.

He stay's pretty busy, so you might want to give him another call.
The truck is driveable and is pretty much complete. He's got to hook up the a/c and few other thigs before I pick it up.
