my dad actually had built the engine in my aunt and uncles car about 2 months ago, well it is a 396 BBC with edelbrock performer RPM heads/Intake/ big ass cam/ headers, all coupled to a muncie M22 close ratio 4-speed and 4:11s inside a narrowed ford 9in. rear-end, my uncle had never taken it to the track, being how this is a brand new engine and all, but my uncle has been talking all this crap that his camaro will beat my new G.T.O. and I figured he was right, but we tried it and as you probably know the G.T.O.s have a stopwatch in the message center, I ran a 13.25@110ish and he probably beat me by about 2 car lengths, he had a hard time hooking up, he needs slicks bad, after that though my dads dad (Grandpa) who has a 31 ford 5-window coupe, TH-350 built 3500RPM stall, and a 1966 327,350HP, but it has been massaged thoroughly (around 425hp) with a chrysler 8 3/4 rear-end and a posi, said he'd like to try my uncle and it was a close race, to close to call without a camera on the finish line, I then raced my grandpa he beat me by about a car length, I ran a 13.06@? but that's all just a guesstimate because I have to turn on the stopwatch and turn it off, sorry about the novel but couldn't resist telling you guys about this.
