rear seat bottoms removal,how to

What is the little trick to removing the rear seat bottoms in a 01 T/A ? I removed 3 cherry air freshners already from under the front seats and the smell is still there.There has to be more somewhere.The smell is driving me crazy.

there is 1 bolt on the front middle of each seat, and they just lift right out... shouldn't take you more than 1 min to take them out

Try grabbing the rear center of the rear seat cushion & lifting up & forward. You'll see how they hinge up. Whether or not it helps in removal, I don't think it will, but it won't be necessary to remove them if you can simply hinge them up & look under them for the smelly dead fishes, ...

:nono: Do not do this! If you do all you are doing is bending the Wire that goes around the bolt in the front holding the cushion in place. If you do it enough times it will eventially snap leaving the cushion to flop around.

Another good spot to hide those little anoyances is up unde the dash where ever you can put a hand, check behind the transition from the dash to the center console.

I had to use a magnet rod to get all the change from under my console, I use the ashtray as a change bin, probably not the best idea. Theres a brand new cell phone in my car somewhere, its like the car has eaten it or something. LOL
