Has anyone ever powdercoated or painted the factory 16" rims black? I wonder how that would look on my black Z28. I'd rather not buy new rims, but maybe it'd look good with black painted rims... :dunno:

Chrome C5's, then sanded and painted semi gloss black. I just put a coat of zaino on them and dust wipes off easily. Something a bit different.

the pics are decieving, you only painted the inside of the rims correct, not the face? I think thats why the like like black chrome. or did you paint the face?

that's correct, I only painted the inside part of the rims.

that's actually a good idea, that shit gets dirty as hell anyway, may aswell keep it dark in there.

my c5 rims did the same thing and i painted the inside black too me and my bud that dose auto body did them they look good and yea it gets dirty there so black is better
