98 WS6 Alarm question

I have a 98 WS6 with factory alarm, Every time I set the alarm I get 2 horn beeps, I would like to know how to set it to silent mode, There must be a way?

I think you get lamps only with "Mode 4" Never changed mine from the factory setting (Mode 5). I just hit my door lock button when exiting the car - arms without the horn beeps. Figuring out what mode your in/how to change it is in the owners manual - if you don't have one you can download one at http://shbox.com
