Ran at Mooresville today, here's the results:
R/T: .448 (wasn't worried about it, I was concentrating on the launch)
60': 1.978
330': 5.669
1/8th: 8.616
MPH: 83.867

I hit the rev limiter briefly in second, which made the trap speed drop, I trapped nearly 2 mph higher earlier in the day, but had a rough launch. The car has a lid, headers, flowstopper with cutout, not so greattune and spec stage 3, as well as bigger brakes. Oh yea, and Nitto NT555R's in a 245/50R16

BAD NEWS: Broke the rear on the way home from the track. Guess I'll have to get a 12 bolt now...

Good deal and sorry to hear about your rear end. PM me next time you head out to Mooresville. I live 15 minutes away and I can get some videos of your runs for you. It might help you address some areas that you think you might be able to improve upon. Good luck dude.

do you know what that turns in to as a quarter time. i just ran an 8.43 at 86.3 mph on street tires and a shitty track.

I've been told that that 1/8 would translate into mid to low 13's :thumbdn:

Another thing I've been told though is that my trap speed is fairly high for my time, indicating launch issues, and since I've made a total of 10 runs on these tires, that's entirely reasonable.

On another note, don't pay attention to those online "calculators" that tell you what you should run based on a 1/8 mile e/t or trap speed ot 60' time. Those things are waaaaaaaay off. They were saying I needed to be cutting a 1.75 60' to run my 1/8th mph and a 1.80 to get my 1/8th et. I got a 1.978. :thinkin:

that seems a little slow. without headers and a tune i was getting low 13's without traction. a 60 time that low would put you into the 12's for sure. we'll find out either this weekend or next if my bird is gonna break into the 12's or not and she damn well better or she's probably gone.

I agree, I was just saying that those online calculator dealys were telling me that my 1/8th was good for low/mid 13's. I was thinking high 12's

Got a buddy who's got a car... yeah I know how that sounds!

But, 86 MonteC SS , 1.9 60ft, 8.53 1/8th, 12.95 1/4. All cars are different: gearing, tires, mph. Just thought this would give an example.
